According to Lakers TA reporter Dan Woike, the Lakers hold a $14.1 million middle-class special case and are expected to chase Brooke Lopez of the Milwaukee Bucks and Clint Capela of the Atlanta Hawks.

"Unexpectedly, DeAndre Ayton, who was bought out by the Trail Blazers, became one of their targets," Woike wrote.
