The 2025 NBA Draft Conference was held today at the Barclays Center in New York. In the second pick in the first round, the San Antonio Spurs chose Rutgers defender Dylan Harper.

When asked if he was confident that he would help the team win the third best rookie, Harper said: "There is no doubt that this will be my goal. I believe that the coaching staff and teammates will make it easier for me to show my talent, which is entirely possible."

Previously, Wenban Yama and Castle have won the Best Rookie Awards in the last two seasons.
