According to famous reporter Haynes, the Heat officials later announced that the team signed free agent forward Myron Gardner with a two-way contract.

Gardner averaged 13.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 2.8 steals per game in the summer league, with a shooting percentage of 50% and a three-point shooting percentage of 61.5%.

Last season, the Magic signed him on an Exhibit 10 contract, but quickly cut him.

In the 2023-24 season, Gardner played 16 games in the Development League, averaging 6.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
