When asked if he knew his ability value in the new season, Maxi said he didn't know, but he predicted it would be 86 or 87. When he learned it was 86, he said: "At the end of the season, my ability value would be 90."

Last season, Maxi averaged 26.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
