Recently, former Lakers player Danny Green talked about his feelings when playing for the Lakers on a podcast. He said that the Lakers are America’s Team and that the love of Lakers fans can be felt anywhere.

"(The Lakers are) the American team," Green said, "I don't remember which city or where I was. I feel that in any city, such as Orlando, there are Lakers fans everywhere. No matter where we go, everyone is saying 'Thank you for signing the Lakers'. There are Lakers fans everywhere. This is crazy, the spotlight is different. I think many people have had such experiences. Even big stars like Luca and Westbrook will take some time to adapt to these spotlights when they come to the Lakers."
