According to US media NBC Los Angeles, at 1 pm local time on Wednesday, former Los Angeles Lakers center Christian Wood’s residence in Sherman Oaks, California, was broken into by three burglary suspects.

Facing the armed gangsters, Wood defended himself with a gun and fired three shots at the ground, successfully scaring away the intruders.

At present, it appears that no property has been stolen from the home, and no one has been injured.
