Borini: I was like Sterling at Sampdoria last year. They made me train alone and didn’t give me food.

Former Liverpool and Milan winger Borini terminated his contract with Sampdoria this summer and joined the English second team Salford City. In an interview with The Times, he admitted that he was treated extremely unfairly at Sampdoria last season.
The following is the original text from The Times:
In Borini's own words, at Sampdoria last season, he found himself in a situation just like Sterling. Sporting director Arkady refused to let him play.
Bollini: "Everyone around me knows how difficult it is, because the director took a very strong stance even before he met me. He felt that there was something wrong with me, that I was not good this way, that I was not good, that I was a problem in the dressing room. In fact, I was the dressing room itself. "In difficult times, I always tried to unite everyone, because I have enough experience to do that. I can do the same here (Salford City). I was ready to sue the club and prepared all the documents to sue the team because they could not force me to train alone, deny me food, and deny me participation in team activities. All of these things were hard for me to accept.
"So I was very, very, very sad. I was talking to a friend at Sampdoria who had the same experience and he said, 'I feel like I'm a lot better off being away from there.' I texted him yesterday and said, I'm starting to feel that way again because it takes a lot of time. At Salford City, I can be myself again, helping people and laughing, Being able to play and chat, you will start to feel like you are recovering. Even my mother said to me: ‘Ah, I heard you are much better! ’”
The 34-year-old Borini has played for Roma, Liverpool, AC Milan and other teams in his career. He played for Sampdoria for two years and only played 38 games. This summer, he became a free agent and joined Salford City on a short-term contract.
