According to multiple French media reports, a Senegalese young player named Cheikh Toure was brutally murdered by Ghanaian kidnappers because he could not pay the ransom.

French media stated that Cheikh Toure is a young goalkeeper from a football school in Senegal. A group of unscrupulous people tricked him into trying out for a professional club, then kidnapped him to Ghana and forced his family to pay a ransom.

Unfortunately, his family had no time to raise a huge ransom, and the kidnappers brutally murdered Sheikh Toure. Not only that, the kidnappers sent photos of the body to his mother, causing secondary harm to his family.

After the incident, Senegal and Ghana conducted transnational cooperation to investigate the full extent of this vicious case.
