Italian media: Bremer Mingxia has a 55 million euro termination fee, Juventus may sell it or continue to renew the contract with a salary increase
According to TUTTOJUVE, Bremer Minsha has a termination fee of 55 million euros.
Juventus has not yet begun to renew his contract with Bremer. The club believes that his current contract is valid until June 30, 2029, and this period is already very reasonable for a player who will be 29 years old next season.
The two sides have not had much contact at present, and Bremer will continue to receive an annual salary of 5.5 million euros each year, with four seasons left in the contract. In reality, there is no sign that Bremer will consider a transfer, especially after experiencing injuries last year.
However, the situation is not without variables. In the summer of 2024, Juventus renewed its contract with Bremer for two years in order to avoid Premier League clubs from activate the then 50 million euro termination clause. This step was basically "forced" because many clubs were interested in him, and for a 27-year-old defender at the time, the price was not high.
But next summer (the termination fee is valid from June to July 2025), Bremer's termination fee will take effect again, and a quotation of 55 million euros may appear in the market. By then, Juventus must start thinking about how to deal with it from now on.
Juventus' choice has two directions: canceling the termination clause, but this means Juventus needs to further increase its player salary; or accepting possible risk of leaving the team, especially if Bremer performs well this season, this risk will become more realistic.
