Specifically, the coach is Manzano, which is a decision made in the La Liga. According to the Sports Act, one of the three members of the committee must be appointed by the La Liga.

This time, La Liga chose Manzano, who had coached Atletico Madrid. This move was not recognized by FIFA because FIFA does not understand why an ordinary coach has the right to speak and vote in the referee's assignment. Previously, this position was usually held by the former referee.
