Mota became Juventus coach last summer and was dismissed in March this year. After that, Mota got away from the media's attention. However, this week Mota returned to Italy and applied to become a resident of the town of Sutri. The town currently has a population of less than 7,000. It is located in the Viterbo province of Lazio, Italy. It is famous for its archaeological park, Etruscan ruins, Roman amphitheater, Temple of Mitra, Villa Savoreli and other historical sites.

Matteo Amori, the mayor of Sutri, said: "Today is a special day and we are very honored to accept Thiago Mota's request for residence, which makes him one of our residents. Mota becomes a resident of Sutri, which is the pride of the municipal administration and the entire city.
