Genoa Football Club officially announced: Daniel De Rossi officially takes charge of the first team coach. The new manager has met with the current players and will lead a training session this afternoon at the Signorini Sports Centre.
The club's director of football, Diego Lopez, will introduce the new coach to the media at a pre-match conference held at the Villa Rostan headquarters at 14:00 on Friday. While Genoa Club extends a warm welcome to De Rossi and his team, it also thanks Roberto Murghita and Domenico Criscito for once again showing their sincerity towards the team.

After Vieira's dismissal, Genoa just won its first victory in Serie A this season and got rid of the bottom position.
