The Times said that Kanssa will join Leverkusen for 35 million pounds (30 million fixed + 5 million floating). Liverpool is negotiating the transaction to include a buyback clause. Although Kanssa has limited playing time this season, trying to negotiate the addition of a buyback clause in the transaction reflects Liverpool's confidence in him.
Meanwhile, Liverpool is interested in Crystal Palace centre-back Guy, whose contract has expired 12 months. Crystal Palace's asking price will determine whether Liverpool will sign immediately or seek to sign the player for free.
