The Times analyzes Gueye’s potential destinations: Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern, Barcelona

The British media "The Times" wrote an article about the future of Crystal Palace defender Gueye. The article stated that Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern, Real Madrid, and Barcelona are interested in him.
This summer window, Guey was originally going to join Liverpool, but the deal ultimately fell through during a medical examination in London, which made him very angry. Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern have all joined the race for his signature in recent months, giving Liverpool a run for their money.
Although Guey is unlikely to transfer midway through the season, he can negotiate with foreign clubs and finalize a pre-contract from January 1, and he cannot reach an agreement with another Premier League club before his contract with Crystal Palace enters the final month. So where does Gei end up?
Liverpool
Liverpool very much hope that Guey is still eager to join them. He meets Liverpool's requirements for a central defender who is good at controlling the ball. Van Dijk will be 35 by the start of next season and Konate may leave on a free transfer as Real Madrid are interested in him. Gomez is the team's third central defender, but he has a long history of injuries, while 18-year-old Leoni is still recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Real Madrid
Real Madrid prefers not to pay transfer fees for first-team defenders and has been examining potential free agents such as Gueye, Upamecano and Konate. Real Madrid have already begun to look to the future this summer, signing the 20-year-old Huizen, because they know that the contracts of Rudiger and Alaba are about to expire. Asensio has been promoted from the academy to the first team and the club hopes that 18-year-old Juan Martinez can follow the same path.
Manchester City
Guardian likes players with good personalities. His interest in Guey may be due to the attitude and concentration shown by the central defender after his transfer to Liverpool failed. Although Manchester City has plenty of centre-backs, all players have some issues. If Gueye joins, he could quickly become first choice, competing with Stones and Ruben Dias.
The 31-year-old Stones is still likely to get a new contract, and although Dias is the team leader, he is slower. Gwadiol is fast and versatile and often plays as a left-back for Manchester City. Guardiola admires Husanov despite his inexperience and mistakes, while Reis is similarly inexperienced. Guardiola tends to use left-footed players on the left side of the defense, while Gueye is right-footed.
Bayern
Kompany has long recognized Guey's strength. When Bayern seemed to be selling Kim Min-jae this summer, Kompany considered signing Guey. The South Korean centre-back eventually stayed on but has only made occasional starts this season, reigniting speculation about his future. Bayern have been trying to renew Upamecano's contract, but he has also become a potential target for Real Madrid. Kompany has been considering Schloterbeck and possibly Konate.
Barcelona
Barcelona included Guey on the signing list because of his strong physical fitness, calm playing style and excellent ability to play the ball in the backcourt. However, there is news that Flick prefers to form a central defender partnership with a balanced left and right foot.
