40-year-old Thiago Silva and 39-year-old Ramos both shined, helping their respective clubs Fruminense and Monterrey draw with Bundesliga giants Dortmund and Serie A giants Inter Milan respectively. Both veterans were the top defenders in football during their peak period. From 2013 to 2015, the two entered the FIFA lineup of the year for three consecutive years, winning two seats on the defense line.
