According to World Sports, Fati agreed to join Monaco and will compete in the Champions League next season. Monaco introduced Fati on loan and came with a buyout clause. At the same time, Barcelona will also retain the right to repurchase so that the striker can use it after he returns to his best condition.

Fatty went to New York for vacation last week, but before that he agreed to a offer from Monaco. At present, Barcelona is waiting for Monaco to complete all the documents and finalize the relevant fees. Monaco is full of confidence in Fati, and head coach Adid Houtel even communicates with the players in person, promising that he will continue to let him play even if he doesn't score in 10 games. The conversation and the participation of Monaco CEO Thiago Scuro eventually convinced Fati, 22, to accept the offer, and his contract with Barcelona will expire in 2027.

Fati realizes that there will be a stable chance of playing in Monaco, while other clubs who have been in contact with him cannot provide such guarantees, such as Chelsea. Although the Blues were also interested in Fati, they failed to give Fati enough confidence due to the numerous players on the offensive line.

There are other teams who have expressed interest in Fati, but are all in very preliminary stages and do not regard it as their first choice. So Fati finally chose Monaco, which can ensure he gets more time to play.
