Ballmer: I have less than 3% shares in Aspiration and no board seats & any control
This morning, Clippers boss Ballmer appeared on the ESPN program "SportsCenter" and had a conversation with the well-known female reporter Ramona Shelburne.
Balmer said he initially invested $50 million in Aspiration, an investment that was part of the company's larger financing that helped the company gain legitimacy in the eyes of investors. However, the investment accounts for less than 3% of the company's shares.
"I have no control over this company. I only own less than 3% of the shares, no board seats, and no control. In fact, it is a fraudulent company. Maybe no one can control it at all," Ballmer said.
