Warriors head coach Cole participated in a podcast and talked about his future with the Warriors.

"Honestly, I think everything will go smoothly and I will return," Cole said, "But I also think that at this stage, year by year is the most reasonable."

In February 2024, the Warriors extended Cole's contract in advance with a two-year, $35 million contract, which will last until the end of the 2026-27 season.
