Fox recently accepted an interview with the Houston Chronicle and talked about multiple topics. When asked if he had considered playing for the Rockets at a certain point in his career, Fox said: "I don't know. I really focus on the present and try to keep my position." Fox said that he had no contact with the Rockets before being traded by the Kings to the Spurs.

"I've never actually spoken with anyone on the Rockets, especially because when I was drafted (2017), they were one of the strongest teams in the league. So, no, I haven't spoken with them," Fox said.

Fox is quite destined to be with Texas. He spent his high school years at Cypress Lakes High School in Texas. He returned to Cypress Lakes to hold a training camp this offseason, and this interview was also held during this period.
