Melton: It s most important for us to stay healthy and ready to climb the peak we need
Today, Warriors player Melton was interviewed.
Reporter: As a familiar team, does this sense of familiarity help you come back here when you need to come back?
Melton: "Of course, although you still need to re-adapt to the way you operate. But there is no doubt. Looking at the locker room, it feels almost the same today. Do you know what I mean? Like Clay and Wiggins left, it was very uncomfortable, and I was very close to them. But now this locker room is ready to climb the peak we need. And their performance at the end of last season also showed me how I fit into this scene, which is how I felt at the time."
Reporter: During the recovery process, will you look for some signal that makes you feel 100% back? Will there be such a moment?
Melton: "I think what is important is to come step by step, day by day. This is the only thing I can do, given the past few years I have experienced, this is the only thing I can do - step by step every day, stay positive."
Reporter: From a distance, what do you see when this team welcomes a dream-like brother?
Melton: "You can see the sparks coming back. You know? You see those players, they get in shape, they're ready. You can see him quickly get into the team. Almost as soon as they get here, they start winning streaks, beating some teams with strength, and not training much together. So seeing this really gave me motivation because this team has a chance to become special. Even in the playoffs, they still proved that they can do it. Although some people are injured, or some are not 100% healthy, they still completed the task. I think that's the most important thing. The most important thing now is health, and health is the first priority for us. If we stay healthy, we're a dangerous team."
