Johansson said: "Jamal was the same draft as me. In 2001, he had good ball possession, but his ball possession was not better than Irving. He has a rich skill package. He is a big point guard. Sometimes he plays back, but he will pass if he says his ball possession is better than Irving."

Jamal Tinsley was the No. 27 pick in 2001. He played in the Pacers, Grizzlies and Jazz, and faded out of the NBA in 2013.
