World Sports: Iniesta was accused of defrauding 600,000 euros, which he and his company firmly deny

World Sports reported that Iniesta and his company NSN responded to some news coming out of Peru on Monday. He is allegedly under investigation for allegedly defrauding several Peruvian entrepreneurs of 600,000 euros.
These reports detailed that the country’s prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into the former football player and his company because they may be involved in a fraud case that resulted in several local entrepreneurs losing more than 600,000. The complaint, filed by Gucho Entertainment S.A.C. and other investors, alleges that Iniesta's name and image were used as collateral to raise funds for sporting and music events in Peru promoted by his company Never Say Never (NSN) and its subsidiary NSN Sudamérica. Additionally, it was reported that most of these events never took place and the funds were not returned.
In the face of these reports, Iniesta and his company NSN responded strongly through the following statement.
In response to the news released in recent hours, NSN and Iniesta stated:
- We firmly deny the accusations released in recent hours.
- We regret to see that this information was posted with malicious intent to exploit the image of a public figure.
- We trust that the Peruvian judicial system will soon clarify this situation.
- We reserve the right to take appropriate legal action to defend our work and honor, and request that all related reporting maintain the highest standards of rigor.
