Former TA Lakers reporter Jovan Buha recently said on a podcast that Kneckett's trading value in the market has become lower, and many teams no longer believe that it has the value of the first round.

Buha said: "Summer United failed to help Kneckett improve the value of the transaction. From the perspective of asset valuation, I don't think he has the value of the first round. I heard several people in Las Vegas say this, thinking about what offer to Kneckett, what chips does the Lakers put it into the trade? The answer I got is less than one first round."

Lakers sophomore rookie Kneckett averaged 27.6 minutes per game in six summer league games this year, scoring 11.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals, shooting percentage of 32.1% and 23.7% from three-pointers.
