According to Skira, Origi asked Milan to pay most of the contract year as a severance payment for the termination.

Origi's contract with Milan will not expire on June 30 next year. He visited Milan headquarters yesterday to negotiate the termination of the contract, but the stay was not long and the two sides did not reach an agreement.

Currently, Origi's annual salary is 4.5 million euros, and he requires most of the salary in the last year of the contract to be used as severance payment for termination.

Origi was loaned out by Milan last season and was transferred to Milan's future team this season, but has never made a debut.
